Jordynn+Landon

Everytime I look on pinterest I see these really pretty pictures taken in the snow. I love those pictures, I love the soft feeling of them, the clothes the couple is wearing, and the fact that they look so happy...I forget that both the couple AND the photographer are probably standing in 21 degree weather...which is what we did for these pictures..
Jordynn is my cousin. I love this girl to pieces. She's a lot like me, we both are hopeless romantics and when we fall, we fall hard...Jordynn has fallin pretty hard for her boyfriend Landon, and I'm pretty sure if Jordynn wasn't still in high school they'd run off and get married [" but since they can't do that just yet, the next best thing are cute pictures...which is what we got.

Miss Kendra...senior

You would never know from these pictures that both mornings we shot, it was absolutely FREEZING...and that we had to hike the 2nd day...Miss Kendra is just that amazing. I don't have enough wonderful things to say about this girl. She is one of the most positive people I know, with big dreams and big plans for herself. I love that she is a dreamer and that she is trying to figure out what her next step in life should be. It's hard being a senior in high school, graduating, knowing you're going to be leaving home soon...it's exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time. I hope Miss Kendra remembers, just because the world says you're an adult, doesn't mean you need to grow up so fast. She is a very talented young woman, she loves to sing and dance. Miss Kendra won homecoming queen this year at her high school. She is also a cheerleader for Benson High School. There is also one other thing that Miss Kendra is very awesome at....see if you can figure that our for yourself...

........you guessed it...she's pretty good at lookin like Miss Taylor Swift ["

Miss Kendra, thank you for choosing me to do your senior photos. I hope you love them as much as I do. Remember to go confidentely in the direction of your dreams, live the life you have always imagined...Find what makes you happy, love it, and do it. You are going to do great things, and I hope you continue to reach for the stars no matter what anybody tells you.

Christmas Cards

Every year since Titan was born, my best friend has wanted to do Christmas Cards, but seeing as she never could find the time or a photographer, she didn't get the chance. So this year we got together to take a few pictures...Kids are so interesting to take pictures of. They really don't want to be in front of the camera, they DEFINITELY do not want to pose for the picture, AND they won't hold still...These two are hilarious, when we did their family pictures earlier this year Titan was not wanting his picture taken at all; this time Kirayli wasn't wanting her picture done. I love these two munchkins to pieces and I am so glad to be their auntie, EVEN if they won't pose for auntie to take their pictures.. ha. enjoy

Baby Aiden

I swear one of my goals for 2012 is to actually update my photo blog...I always think, "Oh I should really get those photos up on my blog" and then I get distracted as only my little brain could, and the idea disappears...SO let me fill everybody in.

Rhyno Man and Miss Emily's baby was due towards the end of December so Miss Emily and I headed out December 3rd to go and do some last trimester baby bump pictures...The day before Miss Emily thought her water broke and that the baby was coming...false alarms suck. Lucky for us Mr. Aiden didn't come that day so we were able to get these lovely pictures. (the last one of just her bump with the trees in the back is my FAVORITE)

My fave^

The next day after the above pictures were taken Mr. Aiden made his way into the world, December 4th. He is as cute as pie, sweet as a button...and all those awesome sayings. These were taken the day after Christmas. There is something about a new born that makes my heart melt..Maybe it's their small toes, and their itty bitty fingers, or the grunts they make when you move them around too much...Mr. Aiden is special to me. He was born with Down Syndrome and the night after he was born, I wept because just the thought of him brought The Spirit so close to my heart...I know this kid is meant for spectacular things and I am looking forward to watching him grow. Why am I doin all the talking? Pictures speak the best on this blog.

If I never take another picture in my life (which will never happen, but IF) then the next picture will forever be my favorite...
(There is something so sweet, simple, and pure about a mother rocking her first born son)

Rhyno Man, Miss Emily, and Mr. Aiden are doing great! Both of them are so excited to be first time parents and I am so happy for them and we are all so blessed to have little Aiden in our lives.
